גם בסגר השני – עיריית תל אביב-יפו מציעה
באמצעות הספריות העירוניות מגוון רחב של פעילויות תרבות מקוונות לכל הגילאים,
שירות השאלת ספרים דיגיטליים ללא תשלום ממאגר Libby הכולל מאות ספרים, ואף פותחת במבצע למנויים חדשים במסגרתו,
100 הראשונים יקבלו ספר דיגיטלי ראשון במתנה מאתר "עברית". במקביל, נמשכת
ההרשמה לעונת התרבות החדשה שתיפתח באוקטובר ותכלול כ-300 הרצאות במחיר סמלי ועוד
כ-40 סדנאות כתיבה ויצירה.
ערב הסגר הרחיבו ספריות תל אביב-יפו את
שעות הפעילות על מנת לתת מענה לביקוש הרב של קהל הקוראים. במהלך השבוע שעבר ציבור
הקוראים הוכיח את הצורך בהטבות אלו. הנהירה לספריות העירוניות הייתה גדולה עם
28,877 השאלות ספרים. לשם השוואה: ממוצע חודשי ב-2019 עמד על 34,473 השאלות. כלומר 84% מההשאלות החודשיות בוצעו בשבוע אחד.
בין הפעילויות שיתקיימו השבוע – סדנת
קומיקס, שעות סיפור והצגות לילדים, סדנת טיקטוק ומפגש עם הסופר מיכאל אבס לנוער,
ולמבוגרים - מפגשים עם חיים באר. אושרת קוטלר, תמי סירקיס, גלית רויכמן, נעם
סגן ואחרים. בשבוע הבא ובסוכות יתקיימו אירועים נוספים.
